We are a team of educator-clinicians passionate about optimizing how we learn. Our mission is to deliver innovative, engaging, and accessible pathways to knowledge while keeping relationships with our learners at the center.


  • Chief Operating Officer and Co-founder

    Carly Lochala is a board-certified neurologic clinical specialist and dedicated educator in physical therapy. She brings extensive expertise in vestibular disorders, functional neurologic disorders, and facial paralysis rehabilitation to her teaching. After earning her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from New York University, she completed a neurologic residency at the University of Southern California, where she now serves as an Adjunct Assistant Professor.

    Dr. Lochala is passionate about advancing physical therapy education at every stage of a clinician’s career. She has developed and delivered course content and lectures in neuroscience and pharmacology, and has held leadership roles in hybrid courses that combine online and in-person learning. She mentors providers nationwide through the Neurologic Physical Therapy Professional Education Consortium and creates continuing education courses that equip clinicians to confidently evaluate and treat functional neurologic disorders. Her mission is to bridge the gap between evidence and practice, empowering clinicians and students to deliver exceptional neurologic care.

    Outside of teaching and mentoring, Dr. Lochala enjoys running, exploring the outdoors, and spending time with her two children.


  • Chief Executive Officer & Co-founder

    Eric Robertson holds a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Boston University and a Masters of Fine Arts Degree from San Francisco Art Institute and the University of Utah. He’s an associate professor and currently holds the role of Curricular Innovation Director at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences where helps develop various curricular initiatives.

    Dr. Robertson has over 20 years of teaching experience including program design and development for both traditional and distance-based and hybrid programs in DPT and post-graduate educational spaces. He recently served as a member of the IFOMPT Standards Committee and was previously a spokesperson for the American Physical Therapy Association.

    Dr. Roberson explores our relationship with the environment through his research and art work, including ethical impacts of AI and environmental physical therapy as well as continuing to serve as an innovator in the educational technology space. His work has been featured in Time Magazine, on Good Morning America, NPR, and most recently, in San Francisco City Hall as part of an art exhibit entitled, “Metaphors of Recent Times.”
